 Michelle Depaz is an energetic, inspirational businesswoman who came from humble beginnings and has worked her way up the ladder towards being a leading force in the IT industry. Adopted by her grandparents, Michelle spent her youth caring for her grandfather who battled Parkinson’s Disease. This pushed Michelle to take on additional household responsibilities at an early age.  Her grandmother who made minimum wage for 30 years while raising two granddaughters, has always been her inspiration and motivation. 

Michelle was able to pay off college by the time she graduated. During her Junior year in college, Michelle became the primary caretaker for her grandmother who battled Ovarian Cancer. Michelle was able to achieve her goal of owning her own home by the age of 25, while getting to her dream job in a male dominated industry of IT Sales. Shortly after starting her dream job, Michelle’s 13-month-old son was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer. 

Michelle’s motivational stories are based on the teachings of inspirational people in her life. She hopes to inspire her audience to be their own hero by harnessing their inner strength. 

Michelle's inspirational journey is  an emotional experience  that will lift your spirits, as she shares the lessons that have helped her overcome obstacle after obstacle. She empowers her audience to dream big, to believe in themselves no matter the odds, and to stay positive along the journey. 

 Michelle’s college discussion is a one-of-a-kind out look on career paths, and helps give encouragement about planning for the future, while also understanding the repercussions of credit card debt. Her objective is to inspire college students to set themselves up for independent financial success for wherever their aspirations take them.

Michelle's  High School seminar engages students and prepares them for the realities of funding college. She helps them understand the financials of their college aspiration and how to start planning for a debt free graduation. Her personal experiences prove that it's possible that graduating debt free is achievable with no financial support; it just takes the proper mindset and planning. This speaking engagement is a powerful tool that helps set-up our youth for success at an early age. 

Michelle has also spoken to parents of High School students about the important conversation around paying for college. Unfortunately, in today’s society many parents  haven’t figured out how much they plan to contribute towards their children's education. Michelle assists parents articulate this message with their children, as well as steps towards proactive planning. Her techniques and tools help families of all financial backgrounds have a concrete idea around what it takes to assist or enable their child towards their continued education. Having come from a predominantly Spanish speaking household, Michelle also welcomes giving this seminar in Spanish.
